About

Indian Bay Restaurant and Marina

Indian Bay Marina is currently owned and operated by siblings, Joe Walsh and Patty Schwennker who purchased it in 1983 along with their parents.  Indian Bay Marina has been a main stay for summer fun in Willsboro since the 1960’s when it was initially opened by the King Family.

In April of 2011 Lake Champlain experienced unprecedented flooding due to record snow melt and spring rain resulting in the near destruction of the Restaurant at Indian Bay Marina. On May 6, 2011 Lake Champlain set a record reaching 103.27 feet above sea level (100 feet is considered flood stage). From April 13 – June 19, 2011, the lake remained above flood level devastating the entire region.
But, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Indian Bay Marina rebuilt and modernized their marina and restaurant and were able to reopen for the 2013 season.

Images below show some of the flooding from 2011.
